Welcome
The Institute offers day, evening and home study programs designed to train individuals for entry level positions in the travel industry. Our graduates obtain positions with travel agencies, tour companies, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, convention and tourist bureaus and car rental firms.
The day, evening and Saturday programs are ideally suited for the training requirements of its students. Each class session is specialized to provide only reasonable amounts of new training material and skills. Teacher-student ratios are excellent, especially for the more technical computer training portion of the course. Furthermore, hands-on computer reservations and all texts and other training materials are included - not an isolated, expensive addition.
The Institute is a Licensed and fully Accredited Computer Learning Center for all five of the major GDS systems. And, the Institute is a Microsoft Certified Partner School. Also, we are an educational affiliate of The Travel Institute, (formerly known as The Institute of Certified Travel Agents, ICTA).

Economists and career specialists agree that the outlook for travel industry growth is strong and is recovering at a moderate rate. Certain parts of the industry, such as low cost airlines, cruise lines, resort hotels and car rental companies continue to be profitable. The field is people-oriented, stimulating and without any real age barriers.
The Travel Career Institute has been established to train motivated individuals in the current working knowledge of travel sales and reservations. From basic to more advanced, trainees are provided with the skills and resources to offer professional travel services from day-one on the job.
Graduates will have the potential to become successful entry-level employees as vacation travel consultants, commercial travel agents, group travel trainees, corporate travel coordinators, airline, cruise line and wholesaler reservationists or hotel or car rental personnel. Job placement assistance is provided at no extra cost. Others can begin the process of agency ownership. And, with the advent of internet technology, it is now very easy for individuals to work from home
